Anything But Fission
The difference between a prejudice and a conviction is, you can explain a conviction without getting mad - Readers Digest marginal thinking department many years ago
As we possibly approach a Nuclear Tipping Point there's a predictable growth of dogmatic opposition to nuclear power.
Reason has failed to support the passionate, shared commitment that is obvious in the anti-nuclear-power faction. So it is also abandoned. Predictably.
In particular, there's a trend in the argument that I call Anything But Fission or ABF. The is my third attempt to add a new and usefull term to the discussion, see crossover period and greenwashing for the previous attempts.
And there's a closely relasted argument that could be called ABU or Anything But Uranium. The difference being, ABU sees Thotium fuel as acceptable, while ABF does not.,
It can be honest or dishonest. I hesitate to call anything dishonest lest I be guilty of the same, see how to reveal yourself. But there comes a time...
Honest ABF
There's no doubt that many are honest in their belief that nuclear power is evil.
