This is to be a split from the pathetic PR record of nuclear power. For the moment, see there for most of the eventual content.

 

A common argument against nuclear power is that it encourages nuclear proliferation, which is a fancy way of saying it helps people who don't have nuclear bombs to get them.

 

Does having more power reactors mean having more nuclear bombs?

 

It never has and is never likely to. Surprised? Many people are. Let us first look at the history, and then summarise exactly why it has worked out that way. And I hope you will then make some sense of it.
