Central West Emmaus

Emmaus Central West Community covers a large part of New South Wales, Australia. Our area includes and extends from Lithgow in the East to Broken Hill in the West, about a thousand kilometres by road and almost nine hundred in a straight line.

This is a temporary page while the official community website is being rebuilt. It may be a bit messy from time to time (as it's hosted on a freemium server at the free level) but the three things I'm concerned with here are content, content and content. Any problems or suggestions please contact webservant Andrew Alder using this link or the Contact the owner link below.

Gatherings

All are welcome at Gatherings. We have a time of worship and Holy Communion (even by Zoom!). Most gatherings are available on Zoom using various Zoom accounts, so contact the Webservant for the Zoom link if a gathering is coming up and you have not received the link in an email.

Next Gathering

Our first Gathering for 2024 was on 24th February at the Dubbo Community Church 57 Peel Place, Dubbo (Turn off at Sheraton Rd to Castlereagh Ave).

Next gathering is To Be Advised. Watch this space or contact us to be advised by email.

Gatherings start around 12.30pm when the Board has lunch together, please BYO lunch if you'd like to eat with us, or the formal part begins at 2.00pm so feel free to just attend that.

We have a light supper afterwards. So bring something to share if you can. If you have attended a Walk (or Kairos, Chrysalis, Allarga, Cursillo, Torch, or similar, anywhere in the world) bring your worship book, badge and cross if you can still find them. But mainly, come.

All welcome. (Even if just to find out what this Walk to Emmaus is all about.)
