British band The Accent recorded an awesome music video and single in 1967, the single sold well and got lots of airplay in Australia but not worldwide, and a whole generation of Australian guitarists grew up playing the mainly two-string first position riff with a few six-string chords (first position E and bar G and A) thrown in) just as soon as we could afford or build a fuzz box.
Its title is actually "Red Sky at Night" but the lyrics are "red in the night".

It reflected what Australians were into at the time... The Maters Apprentices had released "Undecided" the previous year.
